Two PhD studentships available to work with the team.

The EcoFun team is always interested in recruiting highly motivated PhD students.

This year there are potentially two PhD topics co-supervised by our team that will be opened in the annual PhD competition at the Ecole Doctorale at The Universite of Bordeaux.

  1. Quantifying the impact of elevated CO2, N-fertilisation, drought and climate warming on wood anatomy, ring wood density signals and productivity in adult trees : comparing empirical and process-based approaches. For more information read the project here and contact either Jean-Christophe Domec or Alexis Achim.
  2. Plant-microbiota interactions: influence of microclimate on leaf microbiota and feedback effects on leaf physiology and phenology. For more information read the project here and contact either Corinne Vacher or Lisa Wingate.

Do not hesitate to contact us if you are interested.
