Discussion paper on drivers of soil water-CO2 isotopic exchange across biomes and land use types

A new paper led by Sam Jones is currently under review in SOIL discussions. In this paper, we investigated the drivers of soil water-CO₂ isotopic exchange across biomes and land use types in order to better represent this huge flux in the atmospheric C¹⁸OO budget and obtain robust estimates of global gross primary productivity (GPP) at the global scale using this atmospheric tracer. So glad to see this paper out, even still at discussion stage, knowing all the hard work and careful analysis that has been invested to obtain this unique dataset. For more information, see here.
