Thomas joined the EcoFun research team in November 2014 as a post- doctoral fellow within the ERC project SOLCA. Thomas completed his PhD at LSCE in Paris (under the supervision of Philippe Peylin and Sauver Belviso). His research focuses on multi-tracer approaches to constrain terrestrial ecosystem models and biogeochemical cycles at the global scale. As part of his PhD, he used or combined datasets of eddy covariance fluxes, treering widths and carbon and oxygen isotope composition and atmospheric CO2 and OCS mixing ratios toconstraint global photosynthesis predicted by the land surface model ORCHIDEE. As part of his postdoc here, he will continue working on the modelling of soil-atmosphere fluxes of OCS at local and global scales, and their biotic and abiotic drivers.
